Here it is… my very first award!
I want to thank Natasha from WorldInsideMyPocket for nominating me and would like to encourage everyone to go check her blog! It’s really well written, quite funny and full of adventures, and she was lucky enough to go visit the two places that are very high on my travel wishlist : Iceland and Snowdonia! So, here are the questions Natasha asked me :
- Where was the first holiday you went on?
My first holiday abroad was a Nile cruise in Egypt with my parents and little sister when I was about 16 and my first holiday in France was in the Alps with my grandparents when I was about 2 so I can’t remember much of that one 😉
- Who is your favourite musical artist?

- Do you like your hometown? Why?
I do like my hometown! I chose not to live there but it’s always good to go back as Nantes is a very lively and green city, especially in the summer!
- Why did you start blogging?
I have always loved reading blogs and thought it would be fun and interesting to have one so when we decided to travel around the UK, I thought it would be the perfect way to show my friends and family what we were up to and if it can help other people preparing for their visits, it’s an added bonus!
- What is one thing you can’t live without?
That’s a tough one as I’m not really a light packer but I would have to say my sunglasses as I have mild photophobia.
- Who would you take with you if you were stranded on a desert island?
Probably the easiest question ever : my boyfriend! Both having unusual work schedules, we have always spent lots of time together and, despite being together almost 24/7 for the past year, I never get tired of his company so he’s probably a safe bet for a desert island!
- What do you do on a rainy day?
On my dreamlike rainy day, I would be reading by an open fire with a cat on my lap and a nice cup of tea. On a real life rainy day though, I would probably be in bed with Netflix, a nice cup of tea and whatever my current embroidery project is!
- What annoys you the most?
Sexism and bigotry
- Where are you planning to travel next?
Well there is still quite a lot of our UK tour left but we are talking about going to Barcelona for a few days…
- Where would you choose to retire in the world?
That’s what we’re currently trying to figure out! Ideally it would be somewhere in the UK though.
- What’s your favourite hobby?
If I had to pick only one, it would probably be cross-stitch embroidery.

– My favourite animal is the wolf but I have a crazy passion for pandas.
